THis looks like a great golf GPS, but their list of courses is very short. Make sure you check befoe you purchase this product, that your course is indeed supported. I do not own the unit nor have I seen it. But I play golf a 5 courses in VA, and 1 in Oregon and none are listed here.

Batteries only last for about 3 rounds. Difficult to read in sunlight. Body is poorly constructed. We are returning it.

Pretty much worthless. Functionally it’s fine but it only provides data on one course within a 25 mile range and it’s a private country club. Should have sent it back, before you purchase make sure it has the courses you play, real waste of money.

Out of the box the Garmin Approach seemed like a nice unit. I connected to my PC and updated the software without a problem. But before I managed to get it to a golf course it would not power on any more. I had only had it for 5 days. I called Garmin tech support who were easy to reach and tried to be helpful, but the end result was they wanted me to either send it to them and wait 30 days or so for repair, or return/exchange it through Amazon. I chose to return it and I picked up the Callaway Upro which I like very much.
