Great GPS. I use it on 1 trip it was on track perfect. I say “was” because when you have a gps in your pocket with a cell phone do not sit in your car. I crack the screen on it. But as far as the unit itself I Would recommend this item to any one.

I am returning my recently purchased Magellan 4350 due to two year old maps. I contacted Magellan to see if the unit was eligible for the 30 day map update. The unit is, but I was told the only update is the currently installed 2008-2009 map set. The unit apparently has compatability problems with recent Magellan Map updates. I used the 4350 two times and found it to be a good unit at a great price, but two year old maps makes it unreliable. A GPS can only be as good as the maps and databases it run from!

I got this cause I liked that it had highway lane guidance. I like that it has several route options that I can choose from and the graphics are very good. This unit although Amazon says it has highway lane guidance which displays the overhead road sign and the actual lane to be in. It doesn’t. So if you want a Magellan GPS with highway lane guidance, this won’t work. Still you can’t beat the price.
